PROJECT TITLE | Catalytic Programme for Climate Smart and Nutrition Agriculture and Decent Jobs in Anosy, Madagascar |
| Context | Madagascar faces persistent food insecurity, degraded ecosystems, limited access to finance for rural producers, and fragmented governance structures. The Anosy region is among the most climate vulnerable areas, experiencing recurrent droughts, loss of biodiversity, and limited productive infrastructure. Despite multiple national programmes, efforts remain siloed. The Joint Programme introduces an integrated territorial model anchored by a new catalytic financing window within the Agricultural Development Fund (ADF), enabling climate smart, nutrition sensitive investments while strengthening regional governance and cooperative capacity. |
