Convergence Initiative: Bridging food systems transformation and climate action – Türkiye experience

This side event will showcase Türkiye’s experience as a pilot country under the Convergence Initiative, launched by the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub at COP28 to align food systems transformation with climate action. It will highlight the Convergence Action Blueprint (CAB) and the establishment of the Convergence Group as key outcomes, illustrating how Türkiye is integrating its national pathway for food systems transformation with national climate strategies to strengthen coherence, resilience, and sustainability. The session will also draw lessons for global processes such as UN Food Systems Summit +4 Stocktake (UNFSS+4.)
