UN Food Systems Coalition of Action – Survey Summary Reports 2024-2025

22/07/2025

The UN Food Systems Coordination Hub works in collaboration with 26 Coalitions of Action, which are multistakeholder platforms established as part of the 2021 UNFSS process. These Coalitions were created to support governments in transforming food systems and accelerating progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To assess their progress and strategic contribution to the UNFSS process and the broader global food systems architecture, the Hub conducted two annual surveys in 2024 and 2025, gathering insights from 18 and 19 active Coalitions, respectively. The resulting Survey Summary Reports provide an overview of the Coalitions’ institutional arrangements, main activities, and engagement at global, regional, and national levels, while also highlighting key lessons learned throughout their work.

Both reports include forward-looking suggestions to strengthen collaboration between the Hub and the Coalitions of Action in the lead-up to the second UN Food Systems Summit Stocktake (UNFSS+4), taking place from 27 to 29 July 2025 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The two Survey Summary Reports are available here:  UN Food Systems Coalitions of Action Survey 2024 and UN Food Systems Coalitions of Action Survey 2025.
