The UN Food Systems Coordination Hub has released the 2024 and 2025 Survey Summary Reports of the UNFSS Coalitions of Action. Based on responses from 18 and 19 active Coalitions respectively, the reports provide a comprehensive overview of their institutional development, key activities, and contributions to global, regional, and national food systems transformation efforts, as well as forward-looking suggestions in the lead-up to the UN Food Systems Summit +4 Stocktake.

Four years since the UN Food Systems Summit launched a global movement to transform the world’s food systems—to make them more efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable in support of the 2030 Agenda—the Independent Stakeholders’ Report for UNFSS+4 delivers a clear message: progress is underway, but food systems transformation must become more inclusive, better aligned with global commitments, and grounded in rights-based, accountable governance.

Thailand has taken a major step forward in aligning its food systems transformation with climate action through the National Convergence Inception Workshop, held from 19–21 May 2025 in Bangkok. The workshop brought together representatives from government ministries, UN agencies, civil society, research institutions and the private sector to launch the Convergence Initiative—a global effort to drive coherence across food, climate and development agendas.
